Me, Mr Lola and a coupla buddies have recently returned from New York City. Easily the most memorable aspect of the trip were the fun times we had in Brooklyn, or more specifically Williamsburg. Shopping for thrift, slurping locally brewed ales and watching rock 'n' roll in a bowling alley were some of the delights we sampled. On the night of our arrival we raced over to The Brooklyn Bowl to see personal faves Vivian Girls who were simply ace. Cassie seemedpossessed by a passion and lack of self-consciousness that conjured up the ghost of Kurt. Kickball Katy was sweeter than pie and Frankie, well she played the drums like only a woman can.
Illustrator/Teacher. My very favourite things to do are drawing, collaging, screen printing, going to gigs, writing stories, routing around flea markets, playing bass guitar and listening to all kinds of noise.
